Rock-On!

Rock-tober! That's right, 21 wins out of the last 22 games (7 given by the LA Dodgers =b ). Sweeping the NLDS and NLCS....these Rockies are amazing. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon but what they're doing is just historical and amazing! Good luck Rockies and represent the National League and more importantly the National League West well in the World Series! Rock On!

Student Mode

It's been a couple months since I've had a chance to post. To all my Xanga readers out there (yes, all 2 of you) I hope you're doing well! =)

To recap on what's been going on:

- Went to San Jose/Palo Alto over Labor Day weekend to attend Valerie's wedding and had a chance to meet up and have dinner with Olivia and Julie! I'll post pics later.....well, when they send them to me!

- Dodger season coming to an end....last chance for my boys to make a push for the post season!

- NFL season is back... GO EAGLES!

- Fantasy Basketball is coming up and my group of No Gimps are all pretty excited

- I've been seeing and learning what true friends are all about

- Lastly for now, I just found out that I'll be a student again.......

My school - GO BEACH!

Going for my MBA this Fall and got into a 1 year accelerated program. We'll see how it goes....wish me luck!

Until next time.....peace, love, and baseball (soon to be basketball!)

Finally a new post....

Hey Everyone....yea its been busy....real busy.....but honestly I've also been sick and a bit lazy so I apologize. Here are some things that I've been up to and want to share.....

1) Anyone seen the new Adam Sandler movie "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" yet? Let me know how it is...but I love that pastor's quote in the trailer...it's been in my head all week..."I now pronounce you husband and husband.....you may kiss the husband" and then his laugh "oh ho-ho"...so good. Here's a link to the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K98eT6j3XUw

2) Been working tons of games at Dodgers Stadium...been having a lot of fun this season but also very tiring. Luckily the team goes on a 9 day roadtrip and the next time they're home it's vs. the Giants on July 31st. This week it's been crazy, not only did I have to work but it was nice seeing my friends at the games as well. On Monday night I got to see Andy Yoon, Tuesday it was Joe, Thursday I saw Xing and yesterday I got to hang out with Jenny for a bit. I was able to hook up my friends with programs, special game notes, some food, and a special tour to certain areas of the Stadium that you can't get to with "regular" tickets. Overall a good time.

3) Update on some celebs I've seen (sorry for the spelling): Ray Romano, Brad Garrett, Eliza Dushku (Bring it On), Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Stars from the hit drama "Heroes", Shia LaBeouf (Transformers), Larry King, Tom Hanks, & Victoria Beckham.

4) Oh yea, I think two sets of my friends got engaged in the last month....I guess more weddings next year. Congrats to Luke and his new bride to be and also Joy and Mike. Good luck you guys.

Other than work things are pretty normal. Last night I also had a chance to hang out with some of the guys and we played an old school  game of Trivial Pursuit. It was the "good looking people" vs the "uglies"...naturally the good looking team was me, Andy Y. and Eddie. The uglies were Jacob, Joe, and Andy J. haha. So good. Always fun to hang out with your old friends from jr high and high school....the inside jokes were awesome...and yes we did make fun of people who weren't there, behind their backs! haha.

So yea, I'll try to post a little more frequently. I hope everyone is doing well and if for some reason you get to come out to a ballgame this season, give me a call or shoot me a text message and I would love to hang out and show you around. As one of the biggest Dodgers fan, Alyssa Milano would say....

Peace, Love, and Baseball

Mother's Day

So what did you do yesterday for Mother's Day? I myself, worked...so I had dinner with my mom last weekend but as part of a new tradition for the LA Dodgers and Major League Baseball, over 200 professional baseball players used pink bats in honor of Mother's Day and in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Around the majors these bats were also being sold at the stadiums and every bat that was sold, $10 was donated to the foundation (at Dodger Stadium the pink bats sold out by the 7th inning). It was truly a sight to see because everything was pink in the Stadium from the wristbands, bats, to the cotton candy and pins. Kudos to MLB for supporting this worthy cause.

Props to Golden State

Wow, did anyone else think the Warriors would beat the league best 60+ win Dallas Mavericks? I bet Mark Cuban didn't! Congrats to all the Warriors fans!

050307_Baron_300 Baron Davis....the "real" MVP so far

PlayoffBlog_Bowl580 Oracle Arena with 19,000+ "We Believe" cards for the fans coming into Friday night's game.

On another note, has anyone heard or seen the newest fad in DVD rental? It's called Redbox and I think the people behind it are smart people who will make a lot of money $$$. Basically its at select McDonald's restaurants and Albertson Supermarkets (those are the two places we can get then here in So CA) and they are these big red machines that rent DVDs. You select the title and you swipe your credit card and its ONLY $1/night!!!! how awesome is that? you can also return the DVD back to ANY red box machine! these things are going to put Blockbuster and Hollywood Video out of business! I love this new concept!

Go to www.redbox.com to find the nearest machine by you! Simply genius!
